The Choir of Glass

The Choir of Glass is a minor resonance cult centered on the belief that griefglass exists to be released, not contained. Its adherents claim that resonance trapped in shards, scars, and sealed sites becomes distorted and harmful, and that only through intentional exposure, often ritualized, can resonance fulfill its purpose.

Choir gatherings are informal, unstable, and frequently short-lived. Members assemble around shards, fractures, or resonance-active locations to listen, chant, or hum until the glass “answers.” These practices are widely regarded as unsafe, heretical, or self-destructive, and the Choir is often blamed, fairly or not, for localized resonance incidents.

Most members are drawn in after personal trauma involving griefglass or memory disruption. The Choir offers no doctrine of salvation, only the promise of release through experience.
