Harbor Dockmaster of Uled
The gruff, blunt dockmaster who keeps Uled's cranes turning and its cargo moving. Korrin chews his words in a low dockside growl and cares chiefly about order on his piers. He is practical to a fault and not above taking a bribe to look the other way, though push him too obviously and he will feed inquirers a false lead just to be rid of them.
Description
Dockmaster Korrin rules Uled's horseshoe of black-stone piers with a gravelly voice and little patience. Cranes creak, cargo nets swing, and Korrin barks the harbor into working order through the fog. Blunt and practical, he wants the ships loaded, the manifests stamped, and the trouble kept off his docks.
He can be bribed, but not stupidly; flash coin too openly and he will resent the insult. Deal with him plainly and he knows exactly which crates came and went, and when, which makes him one of the most useful, and most guarded, people on the waterfront.
