Mira Denn is the village elder of Carrow's Reach, a lifelong fisherwoman who dove beneath the bay after the boats began returning empty. She surfaced changed — quieter, slower, prone to trailing off mid-sentence as if listening for something no one else can hear. She wants only for her village to be itself again, and she may point brave divers toward a hidden way down.
Description
Mira Denn has fished the waters off Carrow's Reach her whole life, and when the boats began coming back empty she was the one who went down to see why. She came back two hours later unable to recall her own name for a full day, and though her memory returned, something else did not settle. She speaks deliberately now, often trailing off to stare at the water.
She carries herself with the calm of someone who has weathered bad tides before — but she is certain, in a way she cannot explain, that this is not a bad tide. If she trusts you, she may share what little she knows and help you find a way beneath the reef.
