Description
Varkun Slate-Brow works his trade from a soot-stained stall in Gravenreach, a molten hammer at his hip and a portable foundry that lets him hammer out steel wherever the market takes him. He is canny to the point of exhausting, weighing every word like ore on a scale, and proud of a reputation for supplying the finest arms on the coast.
He will talk price with anyone and loyalty with no one. Rivals grumble that Varkun would arm both sides of a feud and sell tickets to the funeral, and he takes the complaint as a compliment. If the party needs a weapon, a rumor, or a name, he has them all, at a price that always seems to climb.
