A teenager who carries ritual items between the sacred spaces of the Stormpath. She idolizes the duelists and believes the coming duel is a noble and honorable thing. Her naive, piercing questions cut straight to the human cost that the elders have learned to speak around, and she embodies the next generation who will inherit whatever happens at dawn.
Description
Young Attendant Lysa hurries between the Banner Court, the Pavilion, and the preparation chambers, arms full of oath-cloth, chimes, and stormwater basins. She idolizes the duelists and speaks of the duel as something noble, the way children speak of legends before they have seen one end.
Her questions are innocent and unguarded, and precisely because of that they land where careful words do not. She humanizes the cost of violence and represents the future the clans claim to be protecting.
Use her to ask the things the adults will not, and to remind everyone who is really watching what happens on the bridge.
